Chapter 7:

Shane Yu's Jealousy 2

I was so frightened by Shane Yu that tears streamed down my face, and I sobbed uncontrollably.

He shamelessly said, “If you’re short of men, you can consider me?”

I wiped my tears and reached for the car door. He saw my hand on the door, his eyes flashing with displeasure, and grabbed me, wrapping his arms around my waist and pinning me to his lap.

He frowned, his eyes filled with anger, and growled, “Did I tell you to leave?”

“Waaah~ Let me go.”

He sneered, disdainfully saying, “You don’t want to be with me? What’s so great about young boys?”

“You’re a beast.”

Shane Yu looked at me as I cried and took out tissues from the car to wipe my tears.

He said coldly, “I’m giving you a chance. You have to agree to be with me!”

“I don’t agree!” I refused without even thinking.

Uncle Shane Yu’s eyes instantly sharpened, and then he forcefully tore at my clothes. “If you don’t agree, then let me have you for free.”

I struggled desperately, but his strength was too great. My coat was ripped by him, and just as I was about to despair…

Suddenly, there was a knock on the car window. Uncle Shane Yu, seeing this, released me and straightened his clothes.

Startled, I fell off Shane Yu. Shane Yu, with a mischievous, indulgent smile, helped me up and tossed me his suit jacket, gesturing for me to use it as a shield.

“Shane Yu…” a middle-aged man’s voice came from inside.

Shane Yu rolled down the window and called out to the man in front of him, “Brother! What brings you here?”

“I saw your woman standing in the distance, and you were in the car…” the man said, his eyes catching a glimpse of what appeared to be a woman sobbing softly inside the car.

“Shane Yu, can you tone it down?” his older brother’s stern voice came, his tone laced with disapproval.

“Brother, you shouldn’t interfere in my affairs.”

“If I don’t intervene, you’ll become completely lawless.” Uncle Shane Yu didn’t speak, frowning in silence.

Shane Yu turned to look at me, a flicker of heartache in his eyes. “Young lady, are you alright?”

I shook my head, tears streaming down my face.

His brother pulled on the car door. His partner, Shane Yu, yelled, “Make the girl go home!”

Shane Yu didn’t move, his eyes filled with displeasure at his brother’s disappointment.

His brother continued to roar, “You’re really something! Your woman’s still standing outside!”

I tried to open the car door, got out without looking back, and left.

“Sharon Yao, wait a moment, I’ll have Assistant Liu take you home,” Uncle Shane Yu said behind me, but I left without turning back.

Uncle Shane Yu watched my retreating figure, his face terribly grim…

I walked forward with heavy steps, my eyes empty and lifeless, as if I had lost my soul.

My gaze fell on my aunt not far ahead, and my heart tightened. Seeing my aunt’s anxious expression, I sighed inwardly, “How pathetic!” She didn’t even dare to knock on the car window; she definitely knew what her man was doing inside. Yet she chose silence and forbearance, which filled me with pity. With such a beast in human clothing, I wondered how many times he had done this.

Finally, I returned home, went straight to my bedroom, and burst into tears. Tears streamed down my face like a burst dam, as if releasing all my grievances and pain.

After crying, I went to the bathroom, turned on the tap, and let the cold water wash over my body. I scrubbed every inch of my skin vigorously, trying to wash away the traces left by that man. The places he had touched made me feel utterly disgusted.

After showering, I changed into clean clothes, picked up my phone, and found many missed calls and message notifications flashing on the screen. I opened them and saw that they were calls and messages from Chris He.

I sat wearily on my bed and sent Chris He a short text: “Just took a shower, I’m home now.” Then I tossed my phone aside, lay down, closed my eyes, and tried to forget everything that had happened today… In class, I was writing practice problems, my mind filled with the image of Shane Yu forcibly kissing me in the car that day. In anger, I slammed my pen down.

The classroom fell silent.

“Sharon Yao,” the teacher called my name. “Go stand at the door as punishment.”

I got up and went to stand at the door.

The bell rang.

Cindy Song ran out, looking at me worriedly, and asked, “Sharon, what’s wrong? Did you and Chris He have a fight?”

“I’m not feeling well, I asked for leave to go home this afternoon.” I said, heading towards the counselor’s office.

After asking for leave, I walked towards the school gate, when Chris He rushed up behind me and called out to me anxiously.

“Sharon, what’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”

“I…I’m so confused, I just want to be alone.”

“Is it because your family found out about what happened the other day? It’s all because of me, I’m so sorry, Sharon.” Chris He looked at me apologetically.

“No…I…I’m fine, Chris, go back to class first.”

“Then I’ll walk you to the school gate.” Chris and I walked side by side.

When I got home, I saw an encouraging text message from Chris He.

“Sharon, we’ll get through this!”

I stared at the message, unsure how to reply, lost in thought. I was too embarrassed to tell Chris He what Shane Yu had done to me.
