Winter break is in about two weeks, and we’ve all started planning our vacations.

Charlotte Wang excitedly said to everyone, “Winter break is finally here! What are your plans?”

Snow Chen immediately raised her hand and answered, “I want to go to Changbai Mountain to see the snow. I heard the scenery there is incredibly beautiful.”

Felix Xu chimed in, “I want to go to Changbai Mountain too! That sounds amazing!”

Simon Hu looked at everyone and suggested, “Why don’t we go together? It’ll be more fun with more people.”

“Sure, let’s go together!” Charlotte Wang happily agreed. “When are we going?” she asked impatiently.

Felix Xu thought for a moment and said, “It’s best to go before the New Year. Everyone will probably be quite busy after the New Year.”

Snow Chen thought about it and agreed with Felix Xu, so she said, “Then let’s leave in the first week after winter break starts. That way, we should have plenty of time.”

“How long will the trip be?” Tank Gu asked calmly.

“One or two days is fine, it depends on the situation,” Felix Xu analyzed.

I pondered for a moment, wondering if Shane Yu would agree to let me go, then said, “I’m not sure yet, but I’ll let you know before I leave.”

“Look up at me,” Shane Yu called to me.

My nose was slightly red, like a shy little rabbit, as I slowly raised my head to gaze at his handsome face. Shane Yu kissed my lips. “Your lips aren’t cold, that’s good!”

My face and ears flushed crimson at his words; I was so embarrassed.

“You still blush so often after being with me for so long,” Shane Yu whispered in Sharon Yao’s ear, pulling her tightly into his arms.

I pursed my lips, remaining silent.

Seeing that he was in a good mood today, I tried asking, “It’s almost Chinese New Year, can I go back to my parents’ house for the holiday?”

Shane Yu frowned, displeased, but still maintained a gentle tone, saying, “You’ll be with me on New Year’s Day. I’ll take you back on the first or second day of the New Year.”

“I…I actually want to.”

“Be good, I miss you every day I don’t see you. If you go home for the New Year, I can’t go to see you…right?” Shane Yu communicated gently with Sharon Yao.

Missing her was one thing, but deep down, Shane Yu believed that his woman had to be by his side for the New Year.

After dinner, I was doing my English homework at my desk.

Shane Yu came over and looked through my English homework.

“Question 5 is ‘Iimagine_,’ and the answer is C. So, you don’t even know such basic grammar?” Shane Yu commented, holding up my English homework.

“Let me see! Question 5 really is C.”

“I was planning to send you abroad later. You can’t even speak basic English properly; it’s giving me a headache.” Shane Yu said worriedly.

I refused without hesitation. “I don’t want to go abroad; I just want to stay in China!”

“Studying abroad will give you a better future; otherwise, with your grades, you won’t be able to get into graduate school.” Shane Yu didn’t hold back in his criticism.

“I…I…” I was so angry that my face turned red.

“Once I’ve settled my business in China, I’ll go live abroad with you.” Shane Yu said, pulling me into his arms.
